GROW YOUR OWN VEG

Have you ever thought how bland
some supermarket veg tastes?
Have you ever wondered how
fresh their fruit actually is, and
how long ago their cut flowers
were packed for transport?
The answer of course lies in
growing your own. Plots of
varying sizes are now available
for rent at the Forden Allotments
site in Grove Lane, Forden.
You can try growing all your
favourite veg, and there is plenty of space for fruit and flowers too. Other
benefits are fresh air, exercise and peaceful rural views. Plots come complete with a shed and
access to mains water. Allotment gardening is a much cheaper hobby than joining a gym or a
golf club, and we can offer good company, plenty of advice (which you are free to ignore) and
the occasional social event.
More detaIls can be obtained from Richard Dawe on 01938 580 766 or

Don’t delay, spring is just round the corner, so now is the perfect time to start.
