Grateful thanks must go to Jane Walton, Bert Jones, Sylvia
Helliwell, Elizabeth Griffiths, Ann and John Markwick and
others who contributed so much of the contents of their
attic for this purpose. The video of the opening ceremony
was played on a loop quietly in the corner and it was
fascinating to see so many smiles of joy, and some of
embarrassment, as people recognised family, friends and
themselves thirty years ago. The exhibition continued
with a free Coffee Club on the following day, with more
cake, for people to browse at their leisure.
