Leighton Village Playground

The Village Playground has been enjoyed by 100's of children over the 16 years since
Leighton Recreation Committee built it and annually repairs are carried out to ensure
its safety. This Spring the cost of repairs amounted to nearly £3000 and a request was
made to Forden with Leighton and Trelystan Community Council to give financial help.
They have decided to support the repairs with a grant of £1,000 for which we are all
very grateful. The balance will come from LRC funds already raised which will make
sure the Playground is safe for future children to whiz down the slides.
