Sidesmen JOHN & ANN MARKWICK Altar Flowers & Brass Cleaning
Sylvia and Christine would like to thank all our helpers and generous supporters who helped in
getting our fund raising effort off the ground to put a Defibrillator in the Village Hall. Our
coffee morning raised about £280 which is a brilliant start. We need about £2,000!
We haven't heard if our application for a grant towards it has been accepted yet ,and we
are exploring other avenues for help at the moment. In the meantime, please watch this
space for further developments and thanks again
HAS ANYONE LOST A FISH ? Fishermen: To see the colours please look at

This huge fish was found in a stream in Leighton on
May 5th... dead.. in a black bin bag. It's about 27'' long
and fat and heavy.
Advice is needed as to how to dispose of it !
It's too big to fit into the food waste bin. It's too smelly
and heavy to wait for the 3 weekly rubbish collection.
It's too big to bury. Birds of prey aren't interested in it.
It would be very interesting to know what sort of fish it
is, and where it came from, and of course who dumped
it and why.
