LEIGHTON VILLAGE HALL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
There were 8 members of the management committee and 1 visitor at the meeting on 7th Nov.
The drainage in the LVH field has temporarily been resolved but more work needed. The drop in
the grants received from PCC was discussed and ways of hiring LVH out on some weekday
mornings was discussed and the School to be approached.
The booking charges to increase nominally from 1st January 2017 and each hirer to be notified
individually of the agreed prices. The lack of any road edge white lines at the car park entrance
to be reported to PCC Highways. Christmas Decorating of the hall for everyone’s enjoyment
will be done on Monday 28th Nov. School pergola at back of LVH discussed.
Various fundraising options for LVH were explored and decided that LVH need to compile an extensive program
of fundraising in 2017 to make up the projected shortfall starting with a fun Bingo evening.
Next meeting is Monday 16th January 2017 at 7pm in LVH gallery. Everyone most welcome to come along.
