Happy 60th Birthday to our very own Dame Edna.
Keep making us smile !
[Very belated ‐ should have been in last month ‐ editor couldn t see through the disguise]
Treeeeemendous work! Will the Wood and his team have been clearing the
Leighton Estate entrance at the quarry and it has let in a great deal of light.
Job well done.
Hedging their bets! Thanks go to Sarah & Haydn Jones for giving up
their time to do some major pruning of the hedge around the
Village Hall car park in Leighton. Another job well done.
A REALLY Tough Guy! Well done to our own James Hatton on braving mud, rain,
fire and barbed wire in the Tough Guy Challenge staged recently in
Wolverhampton. James along with his 3 colleagues at Severn Trent raised funds for
Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, Macmillan Cancer and the Welsh Air Ambulance raising
over £1100. Well done to you all.
