Congratulations to Sarah & James Evans of Castleview on the hasty arrival 3 weeks early
of a beautiful baby girl weighing in at 7lbs 2oz, a little sister for James.

Congratulations to Helen & James Griffiths who now live in Sheffield, on the birth of
their little son Arlo making Elisabeth & David of Gweld y Coed grandparents.

We wish Iris Pinchen a speedy recovery from her recent operation and hope
that she will soon be out and about

Thank you to Martin Dyson who has done some running repairs to the Village Playground
(emphasis on repairs rather than running obs).

Welcome to Ian and Diane and their dog who have recently moved into
Rowan. We feel sure you will enjoy living in the village.

We send our sympathy and support to everyone who has had a bereavement in their family
recently. Our thoughts are with the family of Geoff Lloyd of Brynhafren who has passed
away and also to the family of Eleanor Shakerley whose funeral was in Trelystan Church.

The newly revived Church Fete will be held in Leighton Churchyard on Saturday 24th June.
Margery Davies has kindly agreed to open it at 3pm. We would appreciate any cakes to
sell on the stalls and tea tent along with any plants or bric-a-brac please. Draw prizes
will also be gratefully received and lots of games and fun guaranteed. Thank you to
everyone who has already offered to help and to anyone else who could assist on the
afternoon please contact on number below or tell a Church member and we will sort out a role for
you as the more the merrier. If you would like to have a stall at it for your own project then the
charge is £5 or £10 with a table.
REMEMBER the Village Tea-Towels created by the Helliwells for LVH will be on sale and can be picked
up directly from their stall with no VAT, delivery or packaging charges to add so large orders welcomed
and if you order more that 100 then delivery can be arranged by llama transport! Please make a note
