state of the patient’s heart. The voice prompt will advise you
whether or not a shock is appropriate.

If a shock is needed the centre button flashes.
Press this button and the shock is delivered.

Continue CPR afterwards — the AED now clicks

spoken comments like “Good CPR” or “Press harder” .

Leave the AED connected until the ambulance arrives– it will tell
