Thank you to Sarah & Haydyn for cleaning the sides of the bus shelter.
Rachel plans to do the roof.......what could possibly go wrong there?

Happy 70th Birthday to the ever youthful John Cookson who was celebrating on 22nd
October and on several other nights also, in fact he has been partying for most of 2018!

Happy 80th Birthday to our local Ploughing Champion Murray Tibbott who is celebrating
on 9th November. Happy Birthday Mur.

GREAT GRANDPARENTS CELEBRATE!

It has been a busy summer with newborn great grandchildren arriving in all directions! Congratulations to all our very
proud great grandparents and welcome to all the precious babies.

Xander Harry Jones was born on 26th September, son to
Matthew and Jordie of Forden, grandson to Rob of Seven
Wells and Sue and great grandson to Doris. Xander was born
13 days after his Great Grandmother Doris’s 96th birthday
so lots to celebrate in the Jones household and a belated
‘Happy Birthday’ from the whole village to Doris.

Sylvia and Gordon Helliwell have had a very exciting few months as three of their Helliwell grandsons had three little
Helliwell sons! So here they all are.......

Firstly here’s Sylvia and Here’s their son Brin and wife Karen
Gordon celebrating (Yes I
know that’s what I thought
too - drinking again – but
frankly it’s Party Central
with these two so finding a
photo without a drink in
their hands is virtually
impossible).

… great grandsons.

baby Theo Helliwell
and David with baby
Arthur Helliwell.

And here’s Chris’s baby son Ben Helliwell Brin & Karen’s three son’s
who does have parents but they were Chris, Jon and David
taking the photo rather than being in it
JW
Incidentally Sylvia and Gordon have three more grown up
grandchildren pictured below and their youngest Olivia (on the
left) is busy rehearsing as she is in the production of Macbeth at
The Garrick Theatre in London’s West End opening
later this month - so yes theres another reason to open a few
bottles of bubbly Gordon. Pop!
