This month’s newsletter is only 12 pages instead of the
usual 16. We have to have blocks of four A4 pages
(both sides of A3 paper). It’s always better to have too
much material. We could do with a stock of general
interest articles that don’t need to be included in a
particular month. Volunteers needed!

You could write about anything you like — memories,
hobbies, trips, reviews of books, movies, theatre,
anything that interests you. 250 words plus a photo
makes a good half page feature. Difficulty getting
started? Not for everyone but try this – scribble or type
rapidly while listening to music – don’t think too much
about what or how well you are writing. Leave plenty
of time for revisions, corrections, improvements on the
following days (just like this column!)
