Thank you to everyone who took part and to the parents
who helped us on the day. Next year we will require some
marshals on the routes as there are so many
youngsters who wish to run: so if anyone
could volunteer for half an hour on show day,
please let us know, we really hope to hold
the race again at next years show, but we
do need a few pairs of eyes and waving
arms to make the traffic aware the next
Mo Farah or Jo Pavey are in training, and of course the
youngsters are kept safe.

I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone who attended the
show, but I would like to say a massive thank you to Rachel
Tibbot and Gethin and Jane and Tony Walton and their
families for the time and effort they, along with the
support of the Leighton Events Group, put into the
planning of the show, to ensure that every year we have a
successful day. It brings together so many people to make
some lovely memories. This event doesn't just happen and
