The Church is not decorated for Lent however everyone is invited to come to
Holy Trinity and decorate it with flowers for Easter on Saturday 15th April.
The Annual Meeting of the Holy Trinity Leighton Parochial Church Council (PCC)
will be held after the 11.00am Morning Worship on Sunday 23rd April in the Church.
At this meeting the Audited Church Accounts for 2016 are received for adoption. Everyone is invited, anyone
whose name is entered on the Church Electoral Roll is entitled to vote. A copy of the Electoral Roll can be viewed
in the Vestry.
Immediately following this, a PCC meeting will be held at which the Church Wardens, Secretary and Treasurer are
appointed. Mr James Evans is standing down as Church Warden this year, and will be missed. If anyone on the
Electoral Roll wishes to put their name forward for any of the official posts especially that of Church Warden
please let the Rev Robert or me know. John Markwick, Church Warden
There will be a Tidy Up Morning, in Leighton Churchyard on Saturday 6th May between
10.00am and 12.00noon.Tea, coffee & biscuits (maybe cake!) provided.
Also, we will soon be starting the grass-cutting season so if people have a strimmer and can
spare an hour, in an evening, once a month we would be very pleased to hear from them.
