life following art. The story is
actually an account of one of the
most famous films ever made but

so revolutionary in every aspect that hardly anyone has
seen it as intended since its premiere in 1927.

With themes of the overthrow of the established order,
removal of monarchies and a movement towards unity

What’s in your attic – apart from that hidden portrait?
How many interesting objects are you storing that could
do with a new home? Not got an attic – then what about
your garage, garden shed, broom cupboard? We have
got enough stuff surplus to requirements to fill several
issues of the newsletter with classified ads.

So don’t all rush at once but, space permitting, we will
be offering occasional slots for items you want to sell
off. As readers, we are all looking for bargains from
owners hoping to save space – it’s how we bought four
Ikea chairs from Allan Smith (illustrious previous editor
of this newsletter) and a few years later sold a couple of
these on to another lucky reader.

What’s a fair price for your small advert? What happens
if nobody wants to buy your elephant’s foot umbrella
stand? If you sell your item the fee is a massive £2. But
no charge at all if you don’t make a sale. We are kicking
off with the fascinating object opposite that’s bound to
be snapped up – maybe…
