CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Wayne Eaton and Clive Stevens who
got married on 2nd December. We wish them every happiness in the future.

Croeso and Welcome to the Pentre to Becky and Paul Wragg Sykes and their
two little girls Tallis and Serin who have moved into No. 3 Pentre all the way from
Bordeaux, France. We are sure that they will be very happy here in Leighton.
Bienvenue!

We are all so sad to hear of the passing of Iris Nunn of Pentre Mill. Iris, Peter and the
family have lived here in Leighton for many decades and Iris was such an inspiring,
gifted and kind person she will be greatly missed and we send our love and support
to Peter, Naomi, Joe and Gaynor and their little baby granddaughter Adwen.

We were sad to hear of the passing of Len Roberts from Upper Monksfield at the age
of 89. Our sympathies go to Len’s wife Kath and his son Neil. The funeral service and
burial was at Buttington Church on 28th December on a frosty but sunny day and
followed by an excellent commemorative reception at Leighton Village Hall
