Montgomery Medical Practice
We are a voluntary organisation aiming to help and support the medical practice and be a positive,
proactive link between patient and doctor.
Rural general practice is in a fragile position due to the current funding structure. Montgomery Medical
Practice continually aims to maintain a high standard of care even as it faces increasing difficulties with
financial pressures and the ability to attract practitioners. We, as an Association, aim to support our
practice and promote positive change.
One of our primary roles is to facilitate funds in conjunction with the doctors' needs ensuring all
donations are wisely spent — and on items that will benefit the practice and patients.
It is important that we are there to support and speak for patients who need our assistance. We provide
an informal channel for suggestions and general complaints.
There are local representatives on the Association and their details are available on the MMPPA notice
board in the surgery. Please feel free to contact them.
