Then the LORD THREASORER proved her receipte of Babingtons letter
written in Ciphers, And also an Answeare from the Queene to Babingtons his letters the
same being in Ciphers sent by a serving man in a blewe Coate and soe proved all the
pointes of her said letters. When mention was made of the Earl of Arundell therein she
wept and blubbered saieinge Woe is mee that the house hath suffered soe much for my
sake and after blubberinge oute a tyme shee said, If I ever made any such deuise
against the Queene my sister I pray God I never see the face of God.
